Well, we've had some rough times with the incidents with Death Eaters and some of the little "events" that have been happening. The castle still apparently feels the need to mess with us whenever it can. I mean, just the other day there were snakes all over the place. I had to lock myself in my office.

Oh, that? Well, as nice as it is to be able to play pro Quidditch, being in the public spotlight all the time kinda sucks, actually. It didn't exactly help when the tabloids found out that the two American team's beaters were dating.

So, when Dumbledore's letter came in, Serene and I were actually pretty overjoyed about it. If one of us is no longer with the team, at least the paparazzi will go away after a little while. You have no idea how many times I had to hold her back from decking some photographer across the face...

That, and the best Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers are here. I'm planning on taking the Auror's Examination in the summer, so it helps to have the best people for the job help me prepare.
